Estelle Lankford, aka “Ms. Bea”

The Virtual Boxwell Staff is sad to report two passings. First in August of this year, Estelle Lanford, known affectionately as “Ms. Bea,” passed. Estelle was Pearl Schleicher’s sister and the two were integral to the kitchen operations at Boxwell for well approximately 30 years. (Read the newspaper release on Estelle’s passing below). The second staff member lost this year was Tyler Cates, a Craig-Parnell staff member in recent years. Tyler had joined the military and was killed in Iraq. Both will be sorely missed. Remember that donations may be made in their names to the Scout Office.
