Craig Dining Hall Construction, 1973

It has been a long time since we looked at the construction of Camp Craig, so we thought it might be worth another gander.

The photo here is nothing really special; it is simply the floor of the dining hall and kitchen. The concrete for the floor has not yet been poured, but you can see clearly the uprights that will encase the giant windows and hold up the roof.

Perhaps what is significant about this photo is how clearly the lake can be seen. When Craig Dining Hall was completed, the lake was clearly visible from veranda, providing this locations one the great vistas on the reservation.
