Boxwell Reservation, 2004

Twenty years ago was an interesting year at Boxwell. Carl Adkins was starting his run as Reservation Director. At Stahlman, Ian Romaine served as Program Director, having done the same job at Craig the year before. Ben Parker (professional) served as Camp Director and Steve Eubank continued his return as Stahlman’s Commissioner. Parnell was now closed as a resident camp.  Craig was in the middle of a succession of single year Program Directors with Griffin Bridgers filling the role this summer.  Allen Crawford was his Camp Director and Howard Glossom, Camp Commissioner. At CubWorld, Dominick Azzara was Program Director with Dave Grimes and Greg Brown as Camp Director. Jonathan Azzara and Rob Martin served as Commissioners.

Rounding out this already extensive list were a host of others. Dave Barnett ran COPE in 2004. The Boat Harbor was run by Bob Painter. Bill Freeman was the Ranger. Misty Williams was the head cook.  Opening for the first time was the pool (run by John Kasper) and the NRA Light Rifle program (run by Pat Deugaw).  Joe Long was the Council Executive.
