Midstate Scouts Pooh Sissy Camp
The title here is a bit misleading; the Scouts are saying that Boxwell is NOT a sissy camp. As you will see, the article is in reference to a comment made by the assistant national director of camping, who said boys were going soft at camps with modern conveniences like dish washers, potato peelers and hot showers.
Chester LeFever and Luke Gaffin, both mentioned here, will find their way to “new” Boxwell in 1960.
